"These workshops are with the TAC team, which is the technical advisory committee," a Presenter said, naming participants such as the jail commander, Megan Kennedy (MetJail Medical), Judge Larson (courts) and Amy Henley (clerk of the courts) as stakeholders who have participated in or will attend workshops. The procurement timeline described includes a qualification stage, shortlisting and then proposal preparation by shortlisted vendors in a December–February window, after which staff will return to the board for final selection and approval.
Board members asked whether procurement might include incentives to finish early or to reward particularly strong preliminary design proposals; staff said incentives and various competition strategies are options that will be considered during procurement planning.
