Board approves minutes, payroll, and authorizes Foundation to apply for USDA grants

At its Feb. 20 meeting in Idabel, the Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents took several routine but consequential actions.
The Board approved the minutes of its Jan. 16, 2026 meeting by roll-call vote: Ayes — Eric Bilderback, Cara Bland, Jerry Hamilton, Latt Jeffrey, Brian Lott, Larry Spradley; Nay — Leland Walker. Regents then approved payroll and miscellaneous claims for January 2026 by unanimous roll-call vote.
During Governance & Legal business, Regents unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the Eastern Development Foundation to apply for USDA grants on the College's behalf to meet federal eligibility requirements for conservation and farm-related programs. The Board also approved moving the June 2026 meeting from Friday, June 12 to Thursday, June 11 due to typical campus closures on Fridays in June and July.
