City staff: council-chambers bathroom signed off by county and will open daily

Tammy Justice told the council "Bathroom has been signed off by the county, finally, as of yesterday," and explained that the contractor completed a difficult punch list and the county issued a letter of completion. She said Theron needs about one hour to program automatic locks and that once done the facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until summer, when operations will be reevaluated.
Justice also reported that the parents of the three juveniles who vandalized the facility have reached out and that the youths will receive community supervision following the court date. She described next steps for maintenance and staffing and said she will resume work on the annual report after a brief period away.
