Waller County Appraisal District (WCAD) Chief Appraiser Becky Gurrola and members of the county’s architecture team presented a briefing to the Waller ISD Board of Trustees on Jan. 15 about a proposed purchase and renovation of property to accommodate county growth and the impending expiration of space in WCAD’s current facility. Trustees asked WCAD to gather and return with additional financial data that the district could use to assess potential impacts or partnerships.
A member of the public (Patron 2) addressed the board earlier during public comment specifically about the WCAD proposal. Board members did not take formal action on the purchase request at this meeting, instead requesting more detailed cost and financing information to inform any future consideration.
