The Fire Policy & Community Information Committee opened a 30‑day public comment period for the village’s draft 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) action plan. Planning staff explained the draft action plan will be made available to the public for questions and comments and that the recommendations remain within HUD funding guidelines.
Staff said the plan will return to the village council for final review before being sent to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. "We'll come back to the village council for final review prior to being sent and forwarded to the Department of Housing and Urban Development," staff said. The committee voted to open the comment period and placed the item on the council consent agenda.
