Council confirms multiple board appointments and approves consent calendar

Council reviewed committee recommendations and approved appointments and reappointments to numerous boards and commissions. For the Greenville Board of Development, the committee recommended Holly Gray as chair and named Keith Pozierowski (Place 1), Craig Jergers (Place 2) and Frank Stephenson (Place 3, reappointment). The committee also presented appointments for the library board, parks and recreation, planning and zoning, substandard structures, civil service and Main Street boards.
The city secretary read the consent calendar — including council meeting minutes and a resolution approving final payment to Texana Land and Asphalt for the 2025 Mill and Overlay Street project — and council approved the consent calendar unanimously. Council members noted a strong applicant pool for boards and thanked staff for the review process.
