Council approved the claims and vouchers on Feb. 3 after questions about billing items. Councilman Gorshkov asked about a reimbursement listed as a holiday installation dinner under conference and meetings; Borough Manager Brian Bond explained it was a dinner included in a QPA conference. Gorshkov also asked about a WEX Bank monthly charge for the Department of Public Works; Bond said it is the monthly charge to use the DPW card. The roll call vote approved the motion (Ayes: 7, Nays: 0).
Several council members and Mayor Cox praised the Department of Public Works for recent snow-removal efforts. Manager Bond closed the meeting by reminding residents that all vehicles parked in borough-owned lots require a parking permit and that enforcement will begin next week. Hearing no further business, the council adjourned at 6:34 p.m.
