Board approves Western Technology Center courses and adjunct instructors

The board approved a comprehensive list of Math and Science courses to be offered at the Western Technology Center for the 2025–26 school year. Approved courses include Algebra II, Algebra III, Geometry, Chemistry, Calculus, AP Biology, multiple Project Lead The Way (PLTW) sequences (Principles of Biomedical Sciences, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions, Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Engineering & Design and Development), STEM Core, STEM Capstone, Physics, Robotics Engineering, and Concurrent College Algebra. The motion passed unanimously among present members.
Separately, the board approved two adjunct instructors to provide Anatomy and/or Physiology credit to Health Careers students: Kylee Chapman (Sayre Health Careers Instructor) and Linda Badillo (Burns Flat Health Careers Instructor). The adjunct approvals were made by motion and recorded as passed 4–0 with one member absent.
