Board member Geri Ayers moved "to table appointing an individual to vacant school board seat #2," a motion seconded by Cory Moore. The motion passed unanimously: "Yea: 4, Nay: 0," with Ayers, Dr. Dustin Baylor, Danielle Deterding and Moore recorded as voting in favor. Danielle Deterding, the district clerk, announced the board's return to open session and compliance with executive session minutes requirements.
