The committee said the positive reception could support teacher retention and early-career success, but members also raised specific adjustments to the program. "Overall feedback from new staff was very positive," the Personnel Committee said. Members suggested allowing first-year teachers more time to settle into their own classrooms before conducting formal observations and providing additional opportunities for new staff to observe experienced teachers during their first years.
