The mayor clarified that the administration was carrying the item to the next meeting rather than introducing it at the workshop. "I don't want anyone to leave this room saying the mayor is trying to build bring billboards into town because no 1 wants more billboards in town," he said, noting the draft will be posted for public review ahead of the next meeting. Council members and staff said the planner and attorney will deliver a recommended draft for formal consideration.
