Under Highway Department updates the board approved overweight permits to town specifications for Ernest Krusch and McElwain Contracting LLC after a motion by Selectboard member Ricky Morin and a second from Clayton Whittemore.
The board reviewed several driveway issues: Tyler Manosh’s driveway was judged to need more work before approval, and the board asked staff to send a letter to Brennan Blair and Sierra Williams directing them to remove a newly created driveway and to use the existing access in accordance with Vermont specifications that generally allow one driveway per parcel. On road postings, Chair Tim Bullard moved—and the board approved—to remove the postings from the lower end of town while leaving East Hill and North Road posted until after the next meeting.
Ricky Morin said he is collecting price estimates for renting an excavator with a mulcher head and is checking with vendors about a sweeper to pick up road sand.
