Oakdale Public Library outlines fall programs, summer reading awards

Kelsey Giygas Clemens, the librarian at Oakdale Public Library, addressed the council during the public-comment period to highlight fall programming and to thank participants in the summer reading challenge. "My name is Kelsey Giygas Clemens, and I am the librarian at Oakdale Public Library," she said, and listed events including a booth at National Night Out at Dorado Park where the library will hand out free books and back-to-school materials.
Clemens also gave dates for upcoming programs: Lehi Day, an adult 'coloring and coffee' session, a fall vegetable gardening workshop with master gardeners, and a tween Pokemon origami bookmarks event. She invited residents to call the library or visit stanlibrary.org for more information and said calendars would be available at the back of the meeting room.
