Back-to-School Shuffle set for Aug. 12 in North Attleboro; $5 tickets at Masonic Lodge

Maureen, a coordinator of the Back to School Shuffle, said the annual community event will take place Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in downtown North Attleboro. "The tickets will go on sale at 5PM at the Masonic Lodge as usual and still the very reasonable price of $5," she said.
Maureen described a route through the Masonic Lodge where more than 30 vendors will distribute back-to-school items, then along the sidewalk toward the library and back. The format is designed to give children a bag of supplies at low cost to families: "For $5, you can end up with 30 plus... something or others for back to school," she said. Organizers thanked participating vendors and identified Laughing Shield comic book store as the event sponsor.
Tickets and participation details are handled by event volunteers at the lodge on the night of the shuffle; Maureen emphasized the event’s goal of helping families with supply costs while giving children a festive experience. Organizers encouraged families to arrive at 5 p.m. when tickets go on sale.
