District staff presented a multi-tiered summer school plan focused on ELAR and math instruction for elementary English‑language learners (approximately 220 students) and language-acquisition support for middle-school students (about 90 recommended). Administrators recommended pre‑ and post‑assessments to measure student growth over the summer.
High‑school summer programming will be located at the middle‑school campus and concentrate on EOC retakes, credit recovery and language supports. An Early College High School bridge program will be available to interested eighth graders. Staff noted final participation figures will depend on EOC testing outcomes and student choices.
