Chief Financial Officer Michael Doyle presented the Monthly Financial Report for the period ending Oct. 31, 2025 and told the board the district's financial position "remains strong, with healthy fund balances across all accounts." He reported that revenues and expenditures are tracking as expected for this point in the fiscal year, enterprise programs are performing well, and early tax collections align with prior‑year trends.
Superintendent Dr. Bonewald provided a recap of recent district events and achievements: teacher Daron White was recognized as Texan of the Month; students qualified for UIL State Congress and will advance to state in January; the Lady Texan Volleyball and WHS football teams are advancing in state and playoff competition; 16 students received Academic All‑State distinction; and the WHS choir was featured on local radio. Dr. Bonewald also noted planned installation of "No Left Turn" signs near Subway to improve traffic safety.
The board accepted the financial report and received the superintendent's informational updates; no budget amendments or new funding requests were recorded in the minutes.
