Board approves transportation camera system, audio upgrades and elevator contract; commissioning services tabled
Summary

On motion by Trustee Andrea Justus, seconded by Lindsey Deringer, the board approved contract proposals with REI for a transportation fleet camera system upgrade. The board also approved contracts with Audio Enhancements for Blue Hole Primary and Scudder and approved the Otis Elevator Company proposal for a Wimberley High School elevator renovation. Trustee Andrea Justus moved each of these motions; Lindsey Deringer seconded the motions and each passed by recorded tally (Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1).
The board tabled consideration of a contract for commissioning services, with Ken Strange noting members were not prepared to make a motion on that item at this meeting. Minutes do not record contract values or technical specifications for the approved proposals; the items were approved as presented and will proceed through contracting as specified.
