The motion to approve the audit was made by Trustee Will Conley, seconded by Trustee Ken Strange, and passed Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1.
The audit opinion indicates the auditors did not identify findings that would qualify as material weaknesses or reportable noncompliance for the year under review. Board trustees acknowledged the report and recorded no follow-up motions tied to audit deficiencies.
The approval aligns with other district financial oversight presented that night, including the First Quarter investments summary and the district's high rating on the FIRST accountability report, reinforcing the administration's message of sound financial management.
