The Union City Board of Education voted to convene an executive session at 6:54 p.m. under 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1) to discuss the employment of a 7/8th grade teacher. The minutes record the board returned to open session at 8:12 p.m. and that Laura Reed, Chris Dugger, Lindsey Garrett and Kerri Griggs were present in executive session. The board announced no action was taken as a result of the executive session.
Later in the meeting the board accepted the resignation of board member Jennifer Bornemann and declared seat #3 vacant. The motion to accept the resignation was made by Laura Reed and seconded by Chris Dugger and carried in a recorded vote.
