"No one spoke in Open Forum," the minutes state.
The board entered closed session at 5:42 p.m. under Texas Government Code sections 551.071, 551.074 and 551.0821 to consult with legal counsel and to conduct a Level 3 appeal hearing. After reconvening at 6:46 p.m., Board Secretary Sean Kelly moved that the board deny the appeal and uphold the administration's prior decision; Donna Knight seconded. The motion passed 5–0. The meeting adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
