The Scobey board moved to hire Brock Bridal as the district driver education instructor for the summer session. The motion to hire was made and seconded during the meeting.
After discussion about program costs and the need to fund future vehicle upgrades, the board set the driver's education fee at $275 for the year. "I moved to set the driver's ad instruction fee at $275 for this year," the Chair said, and the motion passed by voice vote.
Board members debated whether the fee should be higher—one member said $250 had been the long-standing rate and another suggested it could be increased to support vehicle replacement. Administrators noted that fees and MHSA distribution rules affect how athletics and program revenues are handled.
