Board adopts Blue Bonnet Math (K–5) and McGraw Hill (6–12) for 2026–27

The board approved a recommended mathematics curriculum adoption for the 2026–27 school year, selecting Blue Bonnet Math for kindergarten through fifth grade and McGraw Hill for grades six through twelve up to Pre-Calculus. The selections were presented as state-approved options on the EMR list and were approved unanimously, 4–0.
In a companion action the board certified the district's instructional materials for the coming school year to ensure 100% coverage of the TEKS. Materials cited included HMH, Just Right Reader, McGraw Hill, Blue Bonnet Math, Sadlier, Studies Weekly and UnboundEd; district assurances included student safeguards such as Clever single sign-on and ClassWise activity monitoring.
