At its Feb. 24 meeting the Eden Selectboard approved overweight permits to town specifications for Working Dog Septic Service Inc. and Dirt Tech Company LLC. The motion was made by committee member Ricky Morin and seconded by Clayton Whittemore and was approved as recorded in the minutes.
Highway department business included staffing and equipment updates: a new hire began full time the prior week, crews recovered and reassembled the 2024 Western Star truck, and staff reported new price quotes for loader buckets. The minutes record that an aftermarket bucket may be cheaper, while rebuilding the current bucket would cost about the same as purchasing a new one.
