Board hears referendum progress: lockers ordered, bathroom upgrades and flooring designs underway

Superintendent Nick Kaiser updated the board on referendum-related work, saying Phase 2 projects are expected to begin this summer and Phase 3 projects in summer 2027. He reported that lockers have been selected and will be ordered soon, bathroom upgrades with new partitions and fixtures are proceeding, and flooring choices and design work continue.
District accountant Emmaly Monfort displayed a referendum expense tracking sheet on the district website (https://www.boyceville.k12.wi.us/district/referendum.cfm) and said she is preparing 2026–2027 compensation information and historical cost data. She cautioned that an insurance increase can be expected after several years with minimal changes; no additional referendum spending approvals were taken at the meeting.
