The Darlington Community School District Board convened a special meeting on July 7, 2026, called to order at 4:50 p.m. by Board President Bob Hermanson. Superintendent Cale Jackson acknowledged public notice and the board recorded no public comments. "The meeting was called to order at 4:50 p.m. by Board President, Bob Hermanson," the minutes state.
During the meeting the board adopted the agenda and moved into a closed session under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c) to discuss personnel matters involving administrative employees and contracts. After returning to open session the board approved a salary increase for employee Greg Herbst and hired three candidates: a DEMS art teacher, a summer custodian and a maintenance technician; the board took no action on two other candidates. The meeting adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
