Council approves contract to accept Texas State Library infrastructure grant for mobile touch booth

A city speaker (S2) told the council the grant will provide a mobile touch booth for the library and asked for authority to sign the contract with TSLAC. “We’re gonna get a mobile touch booth,” the speaker said, and staff asked whether the council had any questions before moving the contract forward.
A council member moved to approve the resolution, a second was recorded, and the council voted unanimously to authorize the city to sign the TSLAC contract. Staff said the equipment will be an asset for the library and that additional contractual details will be completed with TSLAC following council approval.
