The Cutten School District Board of Trustees approved two personnel/support programs at its Feb. 10 meeting: participation in an early-education internship program for high-school students run by HCOE, and two afterschool drama stipends.
Trustees approved the internship participation by motion of Becky Reece and second from Beth Johnston; the district will partner with HCOE so high-school students can observe and assist the afterschool program. The board also approved an After School Drama Director stipend of $2,000 and an Afterschool Drama Coordinator stipend of $1,000; trustees noted the director’s role will be clarified to reflect responsibilities beyond producing the script. The Seussical musical is scheduled for May 1–3.
