Board approves 2026–27 offer letters and coaches; accepts long-serving staff resignation

The board approved renewal of offer letters of intent for listed certified tenured employees for the 2026–27 school year and also approved renewals for non-tenured certified teachers with specified FTEs. Trustees then moved to approve spring coaches and volunteers for the 2026 season. All motions passed on voice vote.
In an informational item the board received and accepted a resignation notice: "John States has submitted his letter of resignation on January 2025. Effective to end the end of the school year of 2026," the chair said, and noted Mr. States had been with the district since August 1994. The resignation was accepted on Feb. 5, 2026; trustees did not discuss a replacement during the meeting.
