Parents press district on 504 and grading procedures; board approves consent agenda

Megan Giles (S18) urged the district to make arts and cultural programming a visible priority, saying staff should not feel anxious about celebrating culture and that leadership must provide clearer support for events such as Black History Month. After public comment, the board approved the consent agenda on a motion by Mister Knight with a second by Mister Kelly; the motion passed 7–0.
