Red Oak ISD sets general and special trustee elections for May 2, 2026

The Red Oak Independent School District Board voted unanimously to call both a General Trustee Election and a Special Trustee Election for May 2, 2026. Brian Sebring moved to approve the general election order, Donna Knight seconded; the motion passed 7—6. Sebring also moved to approve the special election order, which Ms. Knight seconded; that motion likewise passed 7—6.
The orders were presented by Superintendent Brenda Sanford as part of the action items. The minutes record the roll calls and show each board member voting in favor; no contested details, filing deadlines or candidate information were included in the open-session minutes.
