At its May 19 meeting the Hays City Council approved two agenda resolutions related to a Texas Water Development Board water supply and infrastructure grant application.
The council approved (1) selection of GrantWorks as the administrative project delivery service provider and (2) selection of Freeland Turk Engineering as the engineering and architectural services provider. Both approvals passed by voice vote with four in favor and one member absent (Tom Lemons was recorded as absent). Both resolutions state that any contract or commitment is contingent upon successful negotiation with the service provider.
Actions taken will be followed by staff negotiations of scope and fee task orders and by execution of contracts only if negotiations are successful and TWDB requirements are met.
