Court adopts GRAMA records, grant financial management and standards-of-conduct policies

County staff presented a set of policy documents intended to standardize grant records retention, grant financial management and standards of conduct for grant-related work.
"There's also a document that's a conflict of interest. That 1 is to ensure that we're not doing any business with someone that has an interest in it for grants," Hollis said, explaining the policies are needed to facilitate accurate grant reporting and to satisfy a request from GrantWorks for ARPA reporting. A commissioner moved to adopt the Washington County GRAMA records management and retention policy, the grant financial management policy and the standards-of-conduct policy; the motion was seconded and the court voted in favor.
Staff said the documents will later be consolidated to avoid multiple standalone policies. The court recorded the motion carried by voice vote; no roll-call tally was transcribed.
