Whitney ISD board accepts vice president's resignation, elects new officers

At the Dec. 8 Whitney ISD Board meeting, Jason Sneed moved that the board accept his resignation as vice president; Amy Hoffman seconded the motion and the board approved the resignation unanimously. The board then considered appointment of a replacement and an oath of office but tabled both items.
During the reorganization, Charles Buzan was nominated and elected president, Amy Hoffman was nominated and elected secretary, and Ray Watson was nominated and elected vice president. Each nomination was seconded and carried with a unanimous vote recorded in open session.
