"The village was awarded a $500,000 grant from the state of Illinois, Department of Commerce, and Economic Opportunity for costs associated with capital improvements to village property," Sarra said, and staff recommended ratifying the grant agreement.
A resolution to ratify the grant (Resolution 26 R‑01) was prepared for full board consideration under the attorney section and trustees approved the resolution by roll‑call vote. The board did not record any conditions or local matching requirements in the meeting discussion; staff asked the board to accept the grant and ratify execution of the agreement.
