Superintendent Carlos M. Gonzalez Jr. presented contract recommendations for teachers, administrators and non-teaching professionals that were listed in the board packet. Trustee Mary Lou G. Cruz moved to approve the recommendations, Trustee Yadira A. Barrera seconded, and the board approved the contracts by a 7-0 vote.
The superintendent also presented employment and resignation items for professionals and paraprofessionals. Trustee Jaime Escobar moved to approve the employment and resignation listings and Trustee Jesus Rios Jr. seconded; the motion carried 7-0. With no further business, Trustee Iv Garza Jr. moved to adjourn, Trustee Jesus Rios Jr. seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 9:17 p.m.
