During the March 11 special called meeting, Roma ISD recognized students from multiple campuses on the District Gladiator Wall of Fame. Mr. Saldivar introduced students from Roma High School, Roma Middle School, Roma Bilingual Middle School and other campuses; each student was presented with a token of appreciation.
Student speakers included Aldo Daniel Mena Flores, who gave the invocation, Nailea Elena Garcia, who led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Emma Grace Escobar, who presented a rendition tied to the March character trait of 'Self Reliance.' The minutes list more than a dozen students from across district campuses by name who were honored during the meeting.
