Elias Arredondo, presenting the Spring 2026 College Course Performance Report, told the Riviera ISD Board that students achieved an overall course pass rate of 95.7% and that 73.6% of grades were A's or B's. He said 18 graduating seniors earned postsecondary credentials: 17 Associate Degrees and one Level 1 Technical Certificate, with credential areas including Law Enforcement and Business Management.
"Students achieved an overall course pass rate of 95.7%," Arredondo reported, and the district recorded a 59.1% TSI College Readiness Rate in both English Language Arts and mathematics. He noted the district is expanding credential opportunities to include Patient Care Technician certifications, with approximately six students expected to complete that program next year. The presentation highlighted increased course enrollment, fewer failures, and continued improvement from previous semesters.
Board members did not request additional action on the report; the update served as information for trustees and the community on dual-credit performance and program expansion plans.
