The Maroa-Forsyth Board approved a broad consent agenda covering the minutes of the Feb. 10 meeting, the financial report, bills, disposal of certain closed-session audio older than 18 months, FOIA review, declaration of excess property (football sled), several personnel notices and a hiring. The consent agenda passed on a motion by Matt Crawford, seconded by Paul Lidy, with a recorded vote of 7-0 in favor.
Personnel actions recorded in the minutes include acceptance of retirements: Terry Bohner (food service), effective May 22, 2026; Dawn Jackson (grade-school paraprofessional), effective May 22, 2026; and Josh Jostes (MFHS), effective after the 2029-2030 school year. The board also accepted the resignations of Candi Culp (middle-school cross-country coach) and Jason Sherley (custodian, effective March 27, 2026), hired Johanna Weikle as grade school administrative assistant for 2026-2027, and recorded the dismissal of Lisa Johnston (food service).
