The Tree Equity Program work includes tree acquisition, planting, pruning and removal citywide and is funded by a $272,000 Tree Equity Grant. The city will conduct additional outreach to firms that provide these services and re‑advertise the procurement to encourage participation.
The lack of bidders delays planned work to expand the community tree canopy; the council was informed that staff will re‑issue the solicitation and pursue additional outreach.
