Ropes ISD accepts resignations, revises contract offers and hires head volleyball coach

At its May 18 meeting, the Ropes ISD Board of Trustees accepted resignations from Cydnie Moudy, Aime Little, Lindsey Inmon and Edolia Braddock. The acceptance was made by motion and recorded as carried with a unanimous vote among trustees present.
The board also moved to rescind an earlier action taken March 23, 2026, that had offered one-year probationary contracts to Jami Clevenger, Kayla Templeton, Charles Carter, Rebecca Castillo and Marianne Wolfe. After rescinding, the board approved one-year term contracts for Jami Clevenger and Kayla Templeton, and approved one-year dual-assignment term contracts for Charles Carter, Rebecca Castillo and Marianne Wolfe.
Separately, the board approved hiring Jolee Wilson as head volleyball coach on a 10-month probationary dual-assignment contract. The motion to hire was made by Blake Thrash and seconded by Chad Brooks; the recorded vote for personnel items where noted was Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1.
The minutes list employee names and contract actions but do not include salary figures for the hires or the rescinded offers.
