Edgar Ponce and the curriculum team presented HB3 Goal Progress Monitoring (GPM) math-growth data for PK4 and grades K–2.
Trustees asked about the effectiveness of computer-based interventions such as iReady. Mr. Ponce and Ms. Blanca Cruz said they would examine program effectiveness; teacher Susana Frescas said, "iReady is helping her teachers measure student growth," and Monika Ruiz explained that iReady is being used as a Tier II tool and that students return to Tier I interventions once they advance.
