The Royse City ISD Board of Trustees voted May 11 to adopt an order canvassing returns and declaring the results of the 2026 School Board Election for Places 1 and 2. Trustee Jessica Ratterree moved to adopt the order; Trustee Bobby Summers seconded and the motion passed 5-0 with Trustees Mike Anderson and Amanda Self absent.
"Jessica Ratterree made a motion to adopt an Order canvassing returns and declaring results of the 2026 School Board Election for Places 1 and 2," the transcript records. The board did not record additional discussion on the item during open session.
