San Saba ISD extends contracts for principals, counselors and other staff after executive session
Summary
Following a closed executive session, trustees approved contract extensions for multiple administrators and staff positions, including building principals, counselors, the director of federal programs, the technology director, band director, nurse, daycare director, AG teachers, athletic director, and director of food service.
After meeting in executive session to discuss personnel matters, the San Saba ISD Board of Trustees returned to open session and voted to extend contracts for a range of staff positions.
The motion to extend contracts was made by Jake Lackey and seconded by Tim Sebastain; the board approved the extensions unanimously (7-0). Positions named in the motion included Director of Federal Programs; principals at the high, middle and elementary levels; primary and secondary assistant principals; counselors at high, middle and elementary levels; Technology Director; Band Director; Nurse; Director of the Daycare; Ag Teachers; Athletic Director; and Director of Food Service.
