The superintendent’s report described district-wide Start with Hello Week activities scheduled Sept. 16–20 to promote inclusion and connection. The preschool "Paws Press" is being distributed in English, Spanish and Arabic, and Back-to-School nights were listed by building (School #1 & ECC 9/19; BG 9/17; Memorial 9/25; Charles Olbon 9/24).
District curriculum staff said K–8 received the updated i-Ready curriculum and that students in grades 1–8 have begun the i-Ready diagnostic; the DIBELS universal screener for grades K–8 opens this week. The district said the MyPath feature will provide individualized lessons based on diagnostic results and that MTSS data teams will meet with a Magnolia consultant in October to review results.
