Board ratifies personnel moves, approves substitute hire and travel reimbursements

The items included ratifying a staff class change for Abigail Hope from MA, Step 11–12 ($89,090) to MA+30, Step 11–12 ($93,640), retroactive to Sept. 1, 2024; the appointment of Jessah Logan-Magnusson as a substitute Pre-K teacher at $175 per diem effective Sept. 24, 2024 pending receipt of proper paperwork; and authorization of listed workshop and travel reimbursements for district staff. The board also voted to rescind a previously recorded step increase for Dounia Omran after a clarification of documentation.
Gina McQuin moved the personnel consent motion, Kim Galbraith seconded, and the board recorded a roll call of 5 YES. The action was presented as a single consent motion so that any item could be removed for separate consideration if contested.
