Royse City ISD board approves new hires, accepts resignations and approves teacher contracts

Following a closed session covering personnel matters, the Royse City ISD Board of Trustees took three formal personnel actions at the April 13 meeting.
Trustee Cindi Jobe moved to approve the new hires as presented; Jessica Ratterree seconded the motion and it passed 7‑0. New hires approved included Lindsey Etter (Cherry), Kaitlin Bulgherini (Special Programs), Mariana Magana (Vernon), Heather Humphrey (Administration), Alicia Peterson (Baley), Kelsey Bowles (Special Programs) and Kyle Causey (Administration).
Trustee Bobby Summers moved to approve the resignations as presented; Eric Fort seconded and the motion passed 7‑0. Resignations approved included Karen Hinson (Davis), Kathleen Krumnow (RCHS), Miranda Armstrong (Walker), Laurie Newby (Vernon), Kristi Byrne (Fort), Tammy Oliver (Arnold), Breeana Raffaele (Arnold), Jacqueline Mitchell (Special Programs), Molli Irwin (Cherry), Louann Derryberry (Cherry), Meaghan Blue (Special Programs), Stephanie Tate (Baley), Rebecca Holbrook (RCHS), Jaquetta Tamez (Baley), Malaysia Burns (RCHS) and Manya Hackney (Herndon).
Finally, Trustee Amanda Self moved to approve teacher contracts as presented in closed session; Trustee Cindi Jobe seconded the motion, which passed 7‑0. The actions were recorded in the minutes as formal board approvals resulting from closed session deliberations.
