Patrick Parks accepted his nomination by saying, "I'd be happy to continue serving if that is what the commission would desire"; commissioners then voted and the motion passed by voice vote. Michelle accepted the vice-chair nomination and was approved by voice vote as well. The commission recorded the routine administrative actions and moved on to the evening's agenda items.
