Chair Haley Williamson opened the meeting and explained the public comment procedures under state law, noting that public comment is allowed at the start and before adjournment and is limited to three minutes per speaker. "Pursuant to the Nevada revised statutes, a period of public comment is allowed at the beginning of the meeting and again before adjournment of the meeting," Williamson said.
The commission solicited public comment in both Carson City and Las Vegas at the start and again before adjournment; on both occasions staff reported no members of the public wished to speak. After the final no-comment finding Chair Williamson adjourned the meeting.
