The Sanger Independent School District Board of Trustees held a regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the 6th Grade Campus Cafeteria. Board President Sarah York presided and noted a quorum; board members present were Mitch Hammonds, Jesse Hunter, Lisa Cody, Jarrod Roberts, Bruce Elsey and Staci Moore.
The agenda included a public comment period, recognitions (Employees of the Month) and a Clear Creek Elementary campus spotlight. The board received and recorded routine agenda items including financial, utility, operations, curriculum and safety reports; the minutes list those reports but do not include their substantive content.
The board entered an executive session at 7:05 p.m. under the Texas Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D & E). The board reconvened in open session at 7:24 p.m. with "No Action Taken" reported for the executive session, and the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m. The minutes include signatures for Sarah York (Board President) and Jesse Hunter (Board Secretary).
