Board approves final development plan and ordinance for Starbucks; opening estimated Sept. 2025

The Village of Marlborough Board of Trustees on Nov. 12 adopted Ordinance No. 24-007, approving the final development plan for a Starbucks at the site reviewed by the village engineer and residents. Consultants J. Whisler of Grimes Consulting and T. Kaufman of AKG Development presented the final changes and answered trustee questions during the meeting.
According to the presentation, the developer estimated an opening in "September 2025," with the shell scheduled for delivery in May 2025 and "150 days to complete" construction. The bill was read twice and passed on a unanimous roll-call vote: Chairman Bornmueller — aye; Trustee Hollander — aye; Trustee Boergadine — aye; Trustee Fulton — aye.
